We process 50.000 soil, 12.000 plant tissue samples, 3,000 feed samples, 500 manure samples, 16,000 nematode samples and 1,500 disease samples per year from over 6.000 customers! Each year these number increase and it's all thanks to our awesome customers.
John P. Taberna
John P. Taberna was born in Buffalo, Wyoming. He graduated from Crater High School in Central Point, Oregon.
He attended California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, California (SLO). He attended grad school at the University of Idaho (U of I) in Moscow, Idaho. After graduation, John worked as a soil scientist for the NRCS and Boise Cascade. He also taught at U of I and Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC).
In 2003 John was inducted into the Eastern Idaho Agriculture Hall of Fame. He’s been the owner and soil scientist of Western Laboratories, Inc. since 1973. With his vast knowledge of the agricultural world,
John has helped thousands with all their agricultural needs.
